Canada Business is managed through federal-provincial agreements to provide a single, seamless gateway to information for businesses.  These centres are part of Western Economic Diversification Canada’s (WD) Western Canada Business Service Network (WCBSN), with hub offices located in Vancouver, Edmonton, Saskatoon and Winnipeg.

In Manitoba, the Canada/Manitoba Business Service Centre is a partnership between the Government of Canada and the Province of Manitoba. Services are delivered on behalf of 38 federal government departments and organizations, 13 provincial government departments and five private sector partners. Services for potential, new or existing businesses include:

• An extensive business and trade reference library
• Information Specialists to source business information and best practices in the areas of planning, developing new markets, accessing programs and informed referrals to business contacts.
• A Guest Advisor Program offering the opportunity to speak with lawyers, accountants and banking professionals who volunteer their time and share their expertise.
• Export Services to assist new and existing exporters with international business plans, market intelligence, research and market access.
• Entrepreneurial Learning through seminars on business planning, exporting, financial management, business startup, e-business, intellectual properties, marketing, franchising and more.
• A network of regional access sites throughout Manitoba to help entrepreneurs wherever they may live and work.
• An Aboriginal Business Service Network, dedicated to helping new and existing Aboriginal entrepreneurs.
