Western Economic Diversification Canada's (WD) Entrepreneurs with Disabilities Program (EDP) will assist people living in the Calgary area who have a disability and are interested in pursuing self-employment goals. The EDP supports the federal government's ongoing commitment to help reduce barriers and increase self-employment opportunities for Canadians with disabilities.
The Calgary component of WD’s EDP is specifically designed to benefit individuals living in the Calgary area who have a disability and are interested in opening their own business or expanding an existing one.
In Calgary, Momentum administers a $400,000 loan fund and provides mentoring and training support to entrepreneurs with disabilities living In the Calgary area, on behalf of WD. Participants may access loans of up to $10,000 to:
